Spring 2008
(April 16, 2008) Well Spring is here and the snow is gone! Before we know it school will be out and Prairie Fest will be here. Prairie Fest 2008 is a first annual festival and it is a celebration of all area towns "...on the Prairie". This includes those folks from all the rural towns and cities across the Prairie including Long Prairie, but also Albany, Alexandria, Bertha, Browerville, Burtrum, Clarissa, Eagle Bend, Flensburg, Freeport, Grey Eagle, Hewitt, Little Falls, Melrose, Motley, Nelson, New Munich, Osakis, Randall, Sauk Centre, Staples, St. Rosa, Sobieski, Swanville, Ward Springs, and everyone in between. Plus we love to meet people that don't reside on the Prairie, so feel welcome to join us! Prairie Fest will be held every year on Father's Day weekend, so be sure to mark your calendar. Currently we are looking for exhibitors, motor cycle riders and soft ball teams to sign up and participate in our festival. Give us a call, ask for Randy at 320-732-4900.
