$10 for Adults ($7 if you are wearing a Prairie Fest Button)
$5 for Kids age 12 and below
$20 for those who wish to "rub shoulders" in the Pit

This is the Prairie Favorite and promises to start our Festival with a ���Bang". Pat Betsinger has ran the derbies at area festivals throughout Central Minnesota for the past decade, and he really knows how to attract the drivers. Being this will be the first annual Prairie Fest Demolition Derby there should be some added incentive for the drivers to win this event.

Fireworks- Veterans Tribute
This is a Free Event!

It has been over 11 years since there were professional fireworks displayed at the Grand Stands in Long Prairie, and we can't think of a better way to bring back this annual tradition then to pay tribute to our Veterans. If you are a Veteran who has served his or her State or Nation, please sign up to attend this special tribute. All Veterans' will be recognized by name along with patriotic songs and fireworks. Our Veterans will be asked to circle our Nations' flag front and center to celebrate the 150th Birthday of Minnesota and the 125th Birthday of Long Prairie.

Bull RidingSaturday June 14th, 2008

Extreme Bull Riding
$10 for Kids of All ages ($7 if you are wearing a Prairie Fest Button)

Cowboys and Cowgirls! Visit Prairie Fest to see the biggest and meanest bulls ever to stomp on our prairies. This is a professional bull riding tour with large prize payouts and constant action coming out of all four chutes. To save the riders from danger, there are hilarious clown performances that will bring any cowpoke to laughter.

If you didn't get enough crashing and banging during the first demolition derby on Thursday, we welcome you back for a second round. The Midway will be open until 10:00 PM Sunday evening so be sure to enjoy some great rides and Tastes of the Prairie.
